InSITE CONNECT Event helping the fellows showcase their skills

Twice every year, investors, founders and graduate students gather in vibrant entrepreneurial cities around the United States for a celebration of their local startup community. InSITE CONNECT, hosted by individual branches of the national InSITE Fellowship, brings together some of the most promising local startups in graduate student consulting projects. InSITE showcases these companies and projects at this exclusive event.

Spring CONNECT 2016 at DC this year is expected to be one of the most exciting events to date. Some of the leading entrepreneurs in the DC area have joined hands to promote the new talent coming out of our fellowship. This spring, InSITE DC has worked with some of the top startups in city, including Canvas, Framebridge, Contactually, Kiswe, SWAT App, ObEN and Kinergy Health. Our fellows helped these companies with developing market entry strategy, providing business development advice, and exploring operational optimizations.

InSITE CONNECT also acts as a platform to gather some of the best venture capitalists, investors and entrepreneurs in the DC area. CONNECT includes a small panel of esteemed investors that will provide great advice on entrepreneurship and startup trends.

Founded in 1999, InSITE is a two-year fellowship program comprised of over 150 top graduate students who are interested in entrepreneurship, technology and venture finance. Fellows come from graduate and postdoctoral degree programs in business, law, engineering, computer science, design, and medicine from top universities. The Fellowship helps graduate students get experience and exposure by connecting them in consulting projects with local enterprises across their local cities. The fellowship has helped hundreds of students in the past 15 years to kick-start their careers to work in top firms around the world. InSITE currently recruits from prestigious institutions such as Columbia, NYU, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Georgetown, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
